The Journey for kids is an intense 7 week spiritual quest provided for kids in 4th – 6th grade who wish to seriously deepen their relationship with God. First, they attend four weeks of preparation “Pre-Encounter” classes designed to open the kids’ hearts to greater possibilities in their relationship with God. Then, a powerful 3 day Encounter Retreat for an intense, worshipful experience deepening their relationship with the Lord. Lastly, 2 more weeks of follow-up reinforcement “Post-Encounter” classes designed to solidify what they experienced at the Encounter Retreat and keep them accountable to the commitments they made there.

The Encounter Retreat is a weekend of intense worship and discipleship for kids who are serous about their relationship with Jesus Christ. It is the goal of this church and its leadership that every believer encounters God on a level that challenges them to action. For every person in our church, the weekend Encounter Retreat challenges Christians to equip themselves to become leaders for God and impact the world around them.
